Essas empresas desperdiçam um dinheirão com esses servidores, mais custos de desenvolvimento. Depois de 4 meses, não tem uma alma viva jogando. E tem que ficar lá por anos ligado pq lançou assim. Se eles implementassem uma interface p2p como o xfire não haveria necessidade de gastar com isso.

É que com os jogadores fazendo seus próprios servidores, fica difícil controlar a venda de itens virtuais pra ostentar.

Você pode fazer servidor só pros itens virtuais, e deixar o resto com os jogadores.
