Square Enix has revealed new information about the HD-2D version of Dragon Quest III scheduled for release on November 14, 2024.​

The fact that this title will be voiced has already been discussed, and now the voice actors who will provide battle voices for the heroes have been revealed. Nobuyuki Hiyama will be voicing the "Appearance A" heroes, and Yuko Minaguchi will be voicing the "Appearance B" heroes.​

As mentioned above, the "male" and "female" gender options for classes have been eliminated and and has been replaced with a format where you can choose from two types of appearance: "Appearance A" and "Appearance B." This change is thought to reflect the recent trend toward respect for diversity.

Tava vendo um trechinho de FF7 Rebirth num stream no Twitch e, meu Deus, q mapinha horrível de fast travel, hein? De repente me veio uma alegria de ter conhecido a Square na época em q ela era boa. Q época ruim pra empresa hoje em dia, meu Deus do céu. Vive de imitar os aspectos mais genéricos de jogos ocidentais atuais.

Só explicando um pouco, eu fico sempre abismado q, enquanto no SNES, PS1, N64, etc., não havia tecnologia nem perto do q temos hoje, as desenvolvedoras criavam mundos enormes e super interessantes pra serem explorados. Enquanto isso, hoje em dia, ficam apelando pra soluções porcas como fast travel. Tudo pq dá trabalho criar um world map como os antigos, e querem manter gráficos de outro mundo (q às vezes não são tão bons assim pra justificar), aí colocam um HUDzinho vagabundo como replacement pra vc se movimentar no mundo.

Vou pegar Visions of Mana no Series X e até queria pegar físico. Mas talvez só seja desvantagem (mais caro o físico. E os próximos videogames da Microsoft serem all-digital).
